About

Hybrid athlete and coach from Oslo. I race HYROX and ultra trails, and I coach people who refuse to choose between being strong and having an engine.

Training with me means concurrent programming done properly — strength sessions that respect tomorrow's intervals, running blocks that don't eat your squat. I've made every concurrent-training mistake myself so my athletes don't have to.

Sub-90 HYROX on the first attempt

Astrid could deadlift twice her bodyweight but a 5k left her wrecked. Six months of patient engine-building later she ran 88:40 in Hamburg — and kept every kilo of her strength.

Marathon PR while adding 20 kg to his squat

Everyone told Lars concurrent training would ruin both. We periodized properly: 3:12 marathon (from 3:29) in spring, 150 kg squat (from 130) by autumn.

Common questions

Your roster shows as full — can I get on a waitlist?

Yes — send a join request anyway and mention your goal race. I open a handful of spots at the start of each HYROX season and work through requests in order.

Can I train for HYROX with a home gym?

Mostly. You need somewhere to run and a way to load a carry and a sled-like push (a plate on towels works). I adapt station work to what you have.

How many hours a week does hybrid training take?

My foundation plans run 5–7 hours across 5 days. Race-prep blocks peak around 9. If you only have 4, tell me — the plan bends before you break.
